Up stepped his court-savvy tight end who could score touchdowns and shoot hoops and pitch curveballs and navigate an ice-hockey rink as he brushed aside teammates to schedule a meeting with the man for whom he ran routes and chip-blocked pass rushers in view of a future in the NFL. Beating his coach wasn't quite enough, though. Not for Travis Kelce.

"In front of the team he shot left handed to go against me, that's the confidence he had and the talent he had," Jones told Sky Sports. "I want to say out of five three-point shots I believe he made four of them left-handed.
